Elizabeth Harrington, PhD
Associate Dean of Biology Graduate Education; Professor of MedicineVirtual office hours for graduate students are every Wednesday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Please use this link to schedule a confidential 20 minute meeting with Dean Harrington to discuss any issues, ideas, and news that you would like to share.
Dean Harrington oversees the office and provides graduate students & postdocs with advice and support for all aspects of their training.

Tracey Cronin
Graduate Program ManagerTracey manages funding support for graduate students, plans special events and trainings, and helps advise students on graduate matters. She also supports Dean Harrington.

Isaac Bryden
Graduate Program CoordinatorIsaac provides coordination for the MD/PhD Program and the Brown/Pfizer A.M. Program in Biology. Additionally he supports Dean Harrington and provides administrative support for the Office of Graduate Studies.

Administrator, BRRTP and IMSD@BrownJen provides oversight and support on the Brown Respiratory Research Training Program (BRRTP). Additionally, she supports PIs, program manager, trainees, and mentors for the Brown Initiative to Maximize Student Development (IMSD@Brown). -
RoseMary Fletcher
Administrative CoordinatorRoseMary coordinates and supports professional development programs, serves as the contact for the BioMed F1RSTS, assists with training grant submissions and RPPRs, manages administrative tasks for the BTR program, and provides support for summer research programs. -

Training Grant SpecialistBrenda supports faculty and administrators across the University and affiliated hospitals with data to develop new training grant proposals, renewal training grant applications, and annual progress reports for institutional training grants. -
Melissa Walsh, PhD
Director of Graduate Education Administration & Training Grant SupportMelissa provides strategic leadership to Directors of Graduate Studies, faculty, staff and trainees in graduate level academic and professional curriculum and training grant submissions. She oversees and facilitates professional curriculum out of the office, and supplements curricular requirements tailored to enhance biomedical graduate student training across the BioMedical Division. She also leads the Training Grant Support Team (TGST), providing oversight and serving as an expert in training program submissions and NIH guidelines. -
Marissa Gray, PhD
Assistant Professor of Engineering (Research); Assistant Professor of Molecular Pharmacology, Physiology and Biotechnology (Research); Program Director (Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering)Dr. Gray manages and develops the master's program in Biomedical Engineering, including recruitment, advising, program design, and career development.

Director of the Masters Program in Biotechnology; Senior Lecturer in BiologyDr. Schell is the Director of the Masters Program in Biotechnology. She advises and supports current Masters students throughout their time in the Program. She also fields questions from prospective Biotechnology masters students.
